! Update !

It’s been a while, quite a while… Sorry.

Things are busy and good. Lots of change, lots of growing.

The kids are growing, both Ben and Joe have graduated from high school. Ben has been busy working, he is not sure what he wants to be when he grows up so college is on hold. In the mean time, he is enjoying being a “kid”. One day I’ll kick him out into the real world, but for now, he’s good. Joe is planning on going to college in January or next fall for photography. He has talent and desire and most importantly a drive to succeed. It has been great watching them “grow-up”.

Juli started high school, ACK! She is a happy freshman taking all advanced or AP classes, she is a smarty pants. She is also playing flute and competing in bible quiz.

Sam started middle school this year, 6th grade, he is happy and well adjusted. He has started playing trumpet this year. There is nothing that hurts as much as 6th grade band practice. I spend alot of time outside…8)

Sally is in 4th grade and such a little social butterfly. She is rarely home, always outside playing. She will be starting her second year of girl scouts and her second year of bible quiz.

I have been doing well, being involved again, being present in my life. I have been seeing a widower, last august we got engaged and are planning a wedding for Febuary. (as long as I don’t chicken out) His wife died of cancer 20 days before Jeff died. We have grown and healed and grieved together.

I have plans to continue with this blog, I hope to be an example to others who have gone through the yucky stuff. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. YAY!
